Step 5: Inspect the Cartridge

Step 6: Reassemble the Faucet

To reassemble the faucet, follow the steps in reverse order. Start by inserting the new cartridge into the faucet body. Then, tighten the nut that holds the cartridge in place.

Next, place the escutcheon plate over the base of the faucet and tighten the nut that holds it in place.

Finally, insert the handle into the faucet body and tighten the set screw. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
