How to Build a Corner Bathroom Vanity

Building a corner bathroom vanity is a great way to maximize space and add style to your bathroom. It's a project that can be completed in a weekend with the right tools and materials.

1. Design your vanity

The first step is to design your vanity. Decide on the size, shape, and style that you want. You'll also need to choose the type of countertop and sink that you want to use. Once you have a design, you can start gathering the materials that you need.

2. Gather your materials

You will need the following materials to build a corner bathroom vanity:

  • 2x4 lumber
  • 3/4-inch plywood
  • 1/2-inch plywood
  • Wood screws
  • Wood glue
  • Caulk
  • Paint or stain
  • Countertop
  • Sink
  • Faucet

3. Build the frame

The first step is to build the frame of the vanity. Cut the 2x4 lumber to the desired length and assemble the frame using wood screws and wood glue. Make sure the frame is square and level.

4. Attach the plywood

Once the frame is built, you can attach the plywood to the bottom and sides of the frame. Use wood screws and wood glue to secure the plywood.

5. Install the countertop

The next step is to install the countertop. Place the countertop on top of the vanity and secure it with wood screws. Make sure the countertop is level and flush with the front of the vanity.

6. Install the sink

Once the countertop is installed, you can install the sink. Cut a hole in the countertop for the sink and insert the sink into the hole. Secure the sink with sealant.

7. Install the faucet

The final step is to install the faucet. Insert the faucet into the hole in the countertop and secure it with the nuts that came with the faucet. Connect the water supply lines to the faucet.

8. Finishing touches

Once the vanity is built, you can add the finishing touches. Caulk the seams around the sink and countertop to prevent water damage. You can also paint or stain the vanity to match your bathroom decor.
