Step 3: Remove the faucet handle

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the faucet handle in place. Once the screws are removed, gently pull the handle off the faucet stem.

Step 4: Remove the cartridge

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the cartridge out of the faucet body. Be careful not to damage the O-rings around the cartridge.

Step 5: Replace the cartridge

Insert the new cartridge into the faucet body and tighten it by hand. Use the adjustable wrench to further tighten the cartridge, but do not overtighten.

Step 6: Reinstall the faucet handle
