How to Move Sink Plumbing in Bathroom
Moving the plumbing for a bathroom sink can be a daunting task, but it is possible to do it yourself with the right tools and materials. Here are the essential steps on how to move sink plumbing in a bathroom:
Tools and Materials:
- Pipe wrench
- Adjustable wrench
- Basin wrench
- Teflon tape
- Pliers
- Hack saw

- New plumbing fixtures (if necessary)
Step 1: Turn Off Water Supply
The first step is to turn off the water supply to the sink. There will be two shut-off valves under the sink, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. Turn both valves clockwise until they are completely closed.
Step 2: Disconnect the Water Supply Lines
Once the water supply is turned off, disconnect the water supply lines from the sink. Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts that hold the water lines to the sink. Be careful not to overtighten the nuts.
