How to Put On Bathroom Cabinet Knobs

Changing the knobs on bathroom cabinets is a small task that can make a big difference in the look of your bathroom. It's a relatively easy project that can be completed in just a few steps.

New cabinet knobs

Instructions:

1. Remove the old knobs.

Start by removing the old knobs. Most knobs are held in place with a screw. Simply use a screwdriver to remove the screw and pull off the knob.

2. Clean the surface.

Once the old knobs are removed, take a moment to clean the surface of the cabinet door. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any dirt or dust.

3. Mark the holes.

If you are replacing the knobs with new ones that are the same size, you can skip this step. Otherwise, you will need to mark the location of the new holes.

To do this, place the new knob on the door and mark the location of the holes with a pencil.

4. Drill the holes.

If you are drilling new holes, use a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the screws that came with the new knobs.

Drill the holes carefully, making sure to keep them perpendicular to the surface of the door.

5. Install the new knobs.
