How to Remove a One-Handle Bathroom Faucet

Removing a one-handle bathroom faucet is a simple task that can be completed in a few minutes. By following these steps, you can easily remove your old faucet and install a new one.

Before You Start

Before you begin, gather the following tools:

Adjustable wrench
Phillips head screwdriver
Flashlight (optional)

Once you have your tools, follow these steps to remove your one-handle bathroom faucet:

Turn off the water supply.
The water supply valves are usually located under the sink. Turn the valves clockwise to turn off the water.
Open the faucet.
This will release any remaining water in the faucet.
Disconnect the water supply lines.
Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts that connect the water supply lines to the faucet. Be careful not to overtighten the nuts.
Remove the mounting nut.

Pull the faucet out of the sink.
