Before you begin, make sure you have the following items:

  • A Phillips head screwdriver
  • A flat head screwdriver
  • A new Delta bathroom faucet handle

Once you have all of your supplies, follow these simple steps to remove the handle on your Delta bathroom faucet:

This is located under the sink. Turn the handles clockwise until they stop. Loosen the packing nut with a wrench, then remove the nut and pull out the stem.

2. Remove the cap on the handle.

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the cap located on the top of the handle.

3. Loosen the screw that is holding the handle in place.

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw that is located under the cap.

4. Pull the handle straight up to remove it.

Once the screw is loose, you should be able to pull the handle straight up to remove it.

5. Install the new handle.

To install the new handle, simply reverse the steps above. First, insert the handle into the hole in the faucet.

6. Tighten the screw that holds the handle in place.

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screw until the handle is secure.

7. Replace the cap on the handle.

Use a flathead screwdriver to snap the cap back into place on the top of the handle.
