How to Replace a Bathroom Vent Fan with Light
Replacing a bathroom vent fan with light can be a relatively simple task that can improve the ventilation and lighting in your bathroom. Here are some steps on how to do it.
Step 1: Safety First
Before you begin, turn off the power to the vent fan at the circuit breaker or fuse box. This will help prevent electrical shock.
Step 2: Remove the Old Vent Fan
Locate the screws that hold the vent fan in place and remove them. Carefully pull the vent fan out of the ceiling, being careful not to damage the wires.
Step 3: Disconnect the Wires
There should be two wires connected to the vent fan: a black wire and a white wire. Disconnect the wires by unscrewing the wire nuts.
