The first step is to gather your tools. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, and a pair of pliers. You may also want to have a bucket or bowl on hand to catch any water that may leak out of the sink.
Once you have your tools, you can begin by turning off the water supply to the sink. There should be two shut-off valves under the sink, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. Turn both valves clockwise until they are completely closed.
