How To Tighten Grohe Bathroom Faucet Handle

Materials You'll Need

Adjustable wrench
Phillips head screwdriver

Instructions

1. Turn off the water supply to the faucet. There should be two shut-off valves under the sink, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. Turn both valves clockwise to turn off the water.

2. Remove the aerator. The aerator is the small screen at the end of the faucet spout. Use a wrench to unscrew the aerator.

3. Loosen the set screw. There is a small set screw on the side of the faucet handle. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the set screw.

4. Tighten the packing nut. The packing nut is located behind the handle. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the packing nut.

5. Reinstall the set screw. Tighten the set screw until it is snug.

6. Reinstall the aerator. Screw the aerator back onto the faucet spout.

7. Turn on the water supply to the faucet. Check for leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the packing nut further.
