Adjustable wrench

New faucet

Step 1: Shut Off the Water Supply

Start by turning off the water supply valves under the sink. If you can't locate the valves, you may need to turn off the main water supply to your home.

Step 2: Remove the Old Faucet

Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts holding the old faucet in place. Once the nuts are loose, pull the faucet straight up to remove it. Be careful not to damage the sink.

Step 3: Clean the Mounting Area

Clean the area where the new faucet will be installed. Remove any old plumber's putty or debris. Apply a thin layer of new plumber's putty around the base of the faucet.

Step 4: Wrap the Supply Lines

Measure and cut the supply lines to the desired length. Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the supply lines and screw them onto the water supply valves under the sink. Tighten them securely with an adjustable wrench.

Step 5: Position the Faucet

Carefully position the faucet over the mounting area. Make sure the supply lines are properly aligned with the faucet inlets. Insert the faucet into the hole and tighten the mounting nut from below the sink.

Step 6: Connect the Supply Lines

Connect the supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the connections securely.
