Installing Undermount Bathroom Sink On Marble

Undermount bathroom sinks are becoming increasingly popular due to their contemporary appearance and ease of cleaning. Installing an undermount sink on marble requires special considerations due to marble's delicate nature. This guide will provide essential aspects to ensure a successful and seamless installation.

Preparation

The first step is to prepare the marble countertop. Ensure the surface is clean and level. Mark the outline of the sink's footprint onto the marble using a pencil.

Next, carefully drill holes along the marked outline using a diamond-tipped drill bit. The holes should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the mounting screws.

Sink Installation

Apply a thin layer of silicone caulk around the perimeter of the sink's rim. Gently place the sink into the cut-out and align it with the drilled holes. Insert the mounting screws into the holes and tighten them gradually.

Faucet Installation
