Removing an Old Sink Faucet in the Bathroom

Step 1: Turn Off Water Supply

Before you begin, it is crucial to shut off the water supply to your faucet. Locate the water shut-off valves beneath the sink and turn them clockwise to close them.

Step 2: Disconnect Water Supply Lines

Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the nuts connecting the water supply lines to the faucet. Be careful not to overtighten the nuts, as this can damage the lines.

Step 3: Loosen Mounting Nuts

Reach beneath the sink and locate the mounting nuts that hold the faucet in place. Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts, but do not remove them completely.

Step 4: Remove Old Faucet
