1.Turn off the water supply.
Locate the water supply valves under the sink and turn them both to the closed position. 2.Open the faucet handles.
This will allow any remaining water in the faucet to drain out. 3.Remove the handle caps.
On the top of each handle, you will see a small cap. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry off the caps. 4.Remove the handle screws.
Under each handle cap, you will see a screw. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws. 5.Pull off the handles.
Once the screws are removed, you should be able to pull the handles straight up and off the faucet. 6.Remove the cartridge retainer nut.
Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the nut that is located at the base of the faucet. Do not remove the nut completely at this point. 7.Pull out the old cartridge.
Once the retainer nut is loose, you should be able to pull the old cartridge straight out of the faucet. 8.Insert the new cartridge.
Take the new cartridge and insert it into the faucet body. Make sure that the cartridge is properly aligned before you push it in all the way. 9.Tighten the cartridge retainer nut.
Use the adjustable wrench to tighten the retainer nut. Do not overtighten the nut. 10.Reinstall the handles.
Slide the handles back onto the faucet and tighten the screws. 11.Reinstall the handle caps.
Push the handle caps back into place. 12.Turn on the water supply.
Open the water supply valves under the sink and check for leaks. If there are no leaks, your faucet is now repaired.
